AALIYA
Aaliya is an amateur dancer trained in Bharatnatyam. She completed her arangetram with Arathi School of Dance in 2008 under the tutelage of her guru, Kalashri Asha Gopal. She has experience in teaching, choreographing, and performing South Asian dance styles including, Bharatnatyam, Bollywood, and Folk. She continues to stay in touch with her passion through performances around the tri-state area. You may recognize her in pieces created by her husband - professional dancer and choreographer - Rohit Gijare. Aaliya is a Junior Publicist at Universal Pictures and continues to find unique and fulfilling ways to be involved in the Entertainment Industry.
